Our wooden bespoke Shepherd’s Hut (custom made in 2016) is the perfect place to retreat and enjoy the beautiful Wild Atlantic way and the west cork countryside.

‘The Nook’ is situated in its own secluded area, on a 25 acre rare breed working farm along Ireland’s *Wild Atlantic way (*the longest defined coastal touring route in the world).

Located within a secluded spot in one of our beautiful fields, our shepherds hut is surrounded by mountains and hills with views right down to the sea (at Roaring Water bay).

Guests can enjoy the feeling of being totally away from it all and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding countryside; or they may wish to spend time exploring/visiting some of the local attractions, or participating in one of the many different outdoor activities along the Wild Atlantic Way

Regardless of the weather, you can look forward to a snug relaxing evening in our hut. For cold wintry days there’s plenty of fuel supplied for the wood burning stove and warmer days can be spent cooking on the outdoor barbeque.
